The Belgrove family has been in the appliance business for more than three decades. The late Urban Belgrove began repairing gas appliances in the 1960's and quickly began running his own operation shortly thereafter. His son is a specialist in refrigeration and air conditioning, and his daughter, Carlita Belgrove, founder of Belgrove Appliance, Inc. is a specialist in antique stove restoration and repair. Together, the Belgrove family has worked hard over the years to create a "one of a kind" business in the New York Tri-State area.
Belgrove Appliance is unique because they are the only company in New York that sells new appliances, fully restored antique appliances, and offers in house appliance repair on most types of major appliances. They even provide stove cleaning services for homes, churches, and restaurants. They repair most major brands of appliances both old and new. Belgrove Appliance is currently owned and operated by Carlita Belgrove. Referred to as "The Stove Lady", Carlita was inspired to carry on her father's legacy and become a repairwoman and an entrepreneur in the appliance industry. She has continued to challenge the industry by providing top rate customer service, and plans to one day manufacture her own line of gas stoves.
